How to play a Flash Video

If you have downloaded an FLV video and are wondering how to play it, you need to download Applian Technologies free FLV Player. I am going to go through the steps of downloading and using the FLV Player.

1. Go to the FLV Player page and click Download.

2. The Applian FLV Player Setup will appear like this:

3. Click Next. The setup will take you through step by step. Click Yes to agree to the Terms of Service. Click Next to continue with the installation process. Then you will see an offer to install Applian's Freecorder Toolbar. This is a really cool, and free, audio recorder. If you don't already have it, I recommend installing this as well:

4. Make your choices here, and click Next. Now you will see an offer to Install a free demo of Replay Converter, or Learn more at Applian.com. Replay Converter is also worth checking out. You can convert your movies and burn them to DVD.

5. Click Next. Now you will have the option of installing a free demo for Replay Media Catcher - another cool program by Applian Technologies. Replay Media Catcher is used to download streaming audio and video.

6. Installation successful! Click Finish.

7. You should now see an icon for the Applian FLV Player on your desktop like this:

8. To play an FLV video, go to the directory where you have saved your recordings. You can right click on the file, choose Open With and select FLV Player to play the file:

9. You can also just double click on the file. Either way it will open in the FLV Player like this:

You can now play any FLV files that you have saved. This is a great player, and even better it's free. Go grab your own copy and start playing your FLV videos now.
